Dr. Luis Estrada holds a PhD in Sociology with training in Health Education and an Master of Public Health in Epidemiology. He has experience teaching undergraduate and graduate health education courses. He is a quantitative methodologist and statistician that also serves as a dissertation coach and mentor. Due to his multidisciplinary training, he has guided students in sociology, criminal justice, nursing, public health and health education through their dissertation journeys. Luis is also a certified health education (CHES®) and certified in public health (CPH).
His expertise is helping students developing research hypotheses, research questions, survey design, secondary study design, reporting results, drafting result write-up and interpretation. Luis also has expertise in presentation flow and design. He is comfortable using SAS, SPSS, SPSS Amos, SPSS with added modules (Bootstrapping and Complex Samples) and GraphPrism.
